Massage Therapy Experience

Chris graduated from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy class of 2007, and has been a licensed Massage Therapist ever since. His roots in fitness stem all the way to his childhood, raised by a bodybuilder/physical therapist, you can bet he had a gym in his basement and broccoli on the table for dinner most nights.
Massage Experience – Chris is Milwaukee’s premier massage therapist for UFC fighters and top corporate executives. When Cirque du Soleil comes into town, they call Chris to provide bodywork and training for their performers. Chris has helped provide treatment plans for clients with A.L.S., M.S., cerebral palsy, cancer, HIV and a wide variety of injuries. Prenatal massage is also something Chris has great experience, with especially for his wife during her 4 pregnancies. 🙂

Coaching Experience

Chris started his fitness career at an early age working out in his home under the tutelage of his father a bodybuilder and physical therapist. He was active in martial arts for 10 years and always stayed active. He has had the honor of providing strength and conditioning to world class mix martial artists, football players, and other athletes including the MSOE Cheerleading team. Chris’ most rewarding work is done on a daily basis educating people who are new to exercise, which he did for 7 years as a CrossFit gym owner and head coach. “I love teaching people how to move safely and move well. Unlocking someone’s physical potential and seeing them realize what they are capable of is the most rewarding feeling and why I do what I do.” Chris’ approach to fitness and wellness is a complete lifestyle change done in a fun and educational way.

Steven Sobolewski

Bachelors of Kinesiology
NASM Certified Trainer & Nutrition

My name is Steven Sobolewski and I have been in the fitness industry since 2012. Personally, I believe being fit and feeling good is very important and a huge part of life. Fitness started for me while I was in high school (Whitewater ,WI) and I wanted to feel better about how I looked. Training then became not only something that allowed me to feel better about myself but also became a large passion of mine. Now along with my fitness journey, I love helping others feel the same way and to help them reach their goals.

My fitness experience has grown quite a bit since the beginning. I am familiar with and have participated in traditional weightlifting, sports strength and conditioning, mixed martial arts, bodybuilding, Crossfit, and many others. Also the variety of experience, I have gained quite a bit of knowledge  on healthy eating and weight loss though my own personal achievements. I have received a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Kinesiology which was an awesome learning experience. I have been certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) as a personal trainer as well as their nutrition certification. I also have been able to use all of this throughout my years as a trainer and manager of several gyms.

My goal as a personal trainer is to help others reach their fitness goals as well as help to create a lifestyle around fitness. I believe that in order to live life to the fullest and to be able to have the best quality of life, fitness needs to be a consistent part. I will be accountable, persistent, and available to those who treat training seriously and truly want to get to where they want to be. This is a partnership and I will do my part to MAKE IT HAPPEN as I hope you do as well!

Some fun things about me. I am a twin (yes really but we do not look or act the same). I am married to sweetheart Caroline (who also has an amazing fitness journey)! We enjoy hiking the most but also, golfing (mostly me…), traveling, and surrounding ourselves with amazing people. My favorite fitness activity is a good sweaty Crossfit workout!

Benjamin Strenski

Licensed Massage Therapist

Wisconsin #14280-146

Greetings! My journey to becoming a licensed massage therapist has been a lengthy, yet, rewarding and empowering experience. My own diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis in my teens led me down a lifelong exploration of healing dietary approaches, natural medicines, knowledge of the human body, and developing more compassion for myself and others. After working as a graphic designer in the natural health industry, I eventually was inspired to pursue a career in massage therapy for its more direct, “hands-on” approach to improving the health and well-being of others.
My goal with each client is to provide a uniquely-tailored massage experience that promotes restoration of the body, relaxation of the mind, and rejuvenation of the spirit in a peaceful, healing environment.
